  1. I think they'll finish second in the NE (behind Montreal), 6th or 7th in East (they'll be fighting Boston for the 6th spot). Go Sabres!!:

    Montreal

    NYR

    Tampa Bay

    Phila

    Pittsburgh

    SABRES

    Boston

    Jersey/Caps

  2. Last

    because

  3. I think they will slide into the 8th spot and knock the flyers out.  Why because I see six upper echlon teams in the east.  Pittsburgh, Montreal, Ottawa, New Jersey, sadly the rangers, and Boston, then I guess I see washington winning the division and I guess buffalo could fight for 8th with tampa bay.

  4. Right now?

They would finish tied for first. Because there's no ice in the Hot Sauce and Blue Cheese Arena.

  5. GO BUFFALO- I would say top 5. The only real player we lost was Bernier but he didnt do much anyway. We picked up Craig Rivet from San Jose. He is the solid defenseman that the Sabres need. Also there is some pressure on Miller. Buffalo got Patrick Lalime- a backup goalie that is certainly capable of playing well. He was once rookie of the year and an all star. He shared the starting job last year in Chicago. All in all, Buffalo will have a good chance this upcoming year

  6. They will fall probably fall somewhere between 6th and 12th in the conference.

  7. 8th

    1. the young team as a whole has matured

    2. their new young guns look promising

    3. Rivet will add much needed defensive support and leadership

    4. they battled late in the season for the final spot, they should easily be able to do it again

    5. we havent really lost anybody major to free agency, Bernie only had one good game for us anyway

    6. Miller can finally take a rest from playing with Lalime backing him up

    7. we have the best pizza and wings here in Buffalo

  8. I'll let you know in April, Nostradamus.

  9. i am going to say somewhere between 5th and 8th place

because they have all matured a little bit i would hope that they have at least i think that they are also going to learn how not to give up two goal leads late in the game and they wont have to worry about the big name guys leaving in the next off season (Pommers and Miller) because we will already have them locked up long term hopefully we will be better at special teams too so that all in all will help the team get in the playoffs

  10. last

  11. Sabres will finish right around that 8 spot.  They battled for a playoff spot last year and came close to making it in.  From what Ive seen/read they havent lost any big time players so Id think with the same core of guys theyll be in the same situation again this year.  Maybe this time buyers at the deadline?
