What places are prone to tsunamis.?

im trying to find a list online but they don't have any. and if you know about tsunamis/ tidal waves hitting europe feel free to tell me.

  1. Tsunami is a series of high waves due to displacement of water which is most likely to in areas near to plate boundaies. Earthquakes are a very major factor behind tsunamis.

    Areas most prone to tsunamis are once which are near ocean which are exposed to plate boundaries. Japan, America, Australia, South east asia are most prone to it.  Recent tsunami in South east asia in 2004  effected many countries and took more than 300000 lifes.

    Europe is safe from tsunami threat although they say around 8000 years back Norwey did have a Tsunami .

    Tsunamis can be causedby earthquakes from subduction zones or from avalanches into the ocean. Since, Europe is found in the middle of the Eurasian PLate, no Tsunamis will strike. However, Pacific Nations, are not as lucky as u r
