What places do you recomend going to in the Dominican Republic?

my family is going on vacation in the Dominican Republic in a couple of weeks for about 5 days. We're spending some time arround Santo Domingo and in the Bayahibe beach area. what places do you recomend going to for 2 adults and a teenager and why?

Since you are going to visiting the city santo Domingo, you can go to El conde, cuidad colonial (historical sites, restaurants, souvenirs, etc)

Bayahibe is in La romana and there you can visit Altos de Chavon (archaeological national museum with a theater)

in the way you all can visit the Dominican republic famous beach Boca chica.

If you get to stay on a sunday go to La Vega Carnival.

some malls or shopping center like biggest of the region megacentro or acropolis (anti-earthquake supposedly). and many more...
