Since you have put your question under Australia I presume you mean in Australia. Then it has to be Tasmania, it has beautiful beaches, world heritage areas, national parks, and lakes.

The best place for all that is the NSW south coast, it is gods country. I have been everywhere in OZ and a lot of places in the US. But NSW coast from Austinmer to Bermagui is gold.

If you are talking about Australia

Queensland has the rain forests, fantastic beaches and The Great Barrier Reef, New South Wales has the Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and more great beaches. Victoria has Great People, Fine Foods and restaurants, Wineries, Fantastic tours of the country side, Penquins at Philip Island, the Werribee Open Range Zoo (check out the web sites) Dolphins to swim with in the ocean, fishing up the coast line & More great beaches to swim, surf and walk.

If you want tropical places, Singapore, Rio De Janeiro,  Malaysia, Indonesia and Hawaii has excellent parks and ponds- with good scenery on hills. As for beaches with good views- Rio De Janeiro and Hawaii is great. In other places such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Pacific Islands, Australia, etc., the beaches are nicer, but the view is not as great, although still picture-perfect.
