What places hire felons..help!!?

My brother is getting out of jail soon

and he needs things to go well for him

so im trying to find places that would hire him

do u know of any place that would hire felons?

Just kidding. Find places that aren't going to do background checks, like don't try to get a security job or a job at the bank but more places than you would think don't check. My friend drives trucks and said a lot of truck drivers have records. Use some common sense and dont apply for jobs that are goign to require handling lots of money or securtiy clearnance and he'll be fine.

you'd may as well face it that he's destined to a life of manual labor.  Construction sites, home builders, concrete workers, roofers, landscaping.  Basically, anywhere that a background check is irrelevant.

manual labor

unskilled labor

doesn't require bonding

doesn't require any type of licensing

doesn't require handling any type of monies

Most of my guys end up at car washes, construction work (which is good money if they have skills), janitorial, warehouse work, or sometimes an independent auto repair or other mechanical skill they might have, a shop owner will give them a chance.

Best of luck to your brother, and you're great to try to help him, some guys get zero backing when they get out, it's tough.

this article is in regards to persons cleared of convictions..but has some good commentary on your issue.  Bottom line is to think outside the box (no pun intended) and maybe create his own work.  As he gets a paycheck coming in, it will boost him.  Look into college programs perhaps, that will help him with a skill that he can sell.

Maybe he can be so creative that he can ESTABLISH a business or firm that specializes in this kind of help?  It is very much needed.
