What places in Tuen Mun Hongkong and nearby the area should I visit?

What are the must see places there and what would be the best way to travel around. And I know that Hongkong is in china but do I need a visa to travel anywhere else in China?

  1. There are no places of interest in Tuen Mun that you can visit, apart for a few ancient temples around Tuen Mun. If you want, head to Yuen Long by taking the MTR West Rail to Yuen Long Station and transfer to the LRT to various locations or bus to others. You can also take the green cab to get around the area too. Attractions like Mai Po Marshes, Wetland Park and various old Hakka houses are for you to visit for your pleasure, as well Lau Fau Shan for its inexpensive seafood for you to purchase.

    As for visa, yes you need to apply for visa to enter to the mainland china, unless you visit after Olympic period and you are holding a Singapore, Brunei or Japanese passport. You can visit Macao after your Hong Kong trip as a side trip and visitors from many countries can visit Macao visa free for a maximum of 30 days.
