What places in the U.S. are situated right next to each other in different timezones?

States with Multiple Time Zones

    * Alaska - St. Lawrence Island may be incorrect - Aleutian Islands are different than the default

    * Arizona - The Navajo Nation, in northeastern Arizona, does observe Daylight Saving Time. This is currently not the case at MotionBased.

    * Florida

    * Idaho

    * Indiana - Indiana can't seem to figure out

    * Kentucky

    * Michigan

    * Nebraska - Cherry county (which is split in two) is in Mountain Time because it is the larger section

    * Oregon

    * Texas - Culbertson county is split, but stayed central since it has the most.

There aren't many populated areas divided by time zones - time zone boundaries tend to be in underpopulated areas.  One of the few that I know of is Phenix City, Alabama (CST) right across the river from Columbus, Georgia (EST).  Phenix City businesses tend to observe Columbus time informally.

The Central Time Zone and the Mountain Time Zone does split  Pierre and Ft. Pierre, South Dakota.  The Missouri River is the dividing line going between the towns.  I know, I lived there once.

It may split Mobridge just up the river from Pierre.
