  1. San Francisco, New York, yeah. Those are obvious.

Boston and Columbus [Ohio] are also very g*y-friendly.

  2. Western Europe and Sweden.

  3. Holland (Netherlands) Live here for 2 years going on my 3rd (originally from New York). This is the most socially accepting place i've ever been. g*y marriage is legal, you get the same benefits and rights as straight married couples. All my straight friends go to g*y pride and they love it and have a blast. I've never been judged or discriminated against, I really love it here.

  4. Europe is traditionally far more liberal than the states, so there are bigger g*y scenes in britain and mainland, western europe, than in america

  5. Minneapolis/St Paul has a great scene-community. Our NBC and FOX local news stations even have openly g*y correspondents. The 2 largest g*y clubs in town are right on our main street downtown, and are landmarks!

It seems typically like this, larger urban areas more accepting, you get to the suburbs, less tolerant, go to the country/rural areas and its not!

  6. Within almost every state there are g**s living regular, ordinary lives and their neighbors have no issue with them.  I have friedns in Fl as well as NY and CA.  Check out some recent issues of Instinct for examples of buys all over the country who are happy where they are living.

By the way, in every community, there will be the snobs.  You just need to get past them to the real folks

  7. I just moved from Atlanta, GA to Portland, OR and people are a LOT more g*y-friendly here. Atlanta, GA has a high percentage of g**s but is very g*y-unfriendly. I think pretty much anywhere on the west coast and north eastern area is pretty g*y-friendly. The south-east, now that's a different story. I've always lived in Atlanta until we moved to Portland and I had nasty g*y rumors about me since the third grade. I really don't care anymore but it is nice to be accepted even if I haven't come out yet.... If that makes sense. lol :D
