What places of interest do you recommend in Chihuahua, Mexico?

I'll be traveling to the city of Chihuahua for four days and would like to hit the best spots in town during my stay...no car, relying on public transportation and limited $$$. Helpful recommendations are especially welcomed.

Ciudad, Juarez isn't too bad actually if you give it a chance.

Take the Trolley!   While the museums and gardens of Chihuahua are relatively close to the city center,navigating them can be exhausting. The tourism office has a trolley that visits all the major museums and other sights in the city.A trolley ticket is/was 30 pesos and is valid for four rides.Check with the tourist office at the Palacio del Gobierno

on Aldama & Victoria for details on the trolley and for all the attractions in the city.

**The museums of Chihuahua tend to be overstaffed and more often than not,just asking for assistance will get you a free private tour by one of the English speaking guides.

Cheap Eats

Mi Cafe (1000 Victoria at Calle 10) Just down the street from the Hotel San Juan. In addition to good food they also have Internet access.

Restaurante y Cafeteria Venencia (Rosales 1901 at calle19a)

Great food,locals favorite & always busy.

Tacos de don Chano located right in the middle of Mercado Libertad.Tasty tacos,burritos and antojitos.Be sure to try their homemade salsa.

Chihuahua is a great city to explore by foot... and by trolley.  Make sure you check with the hotel staff where you are staying, as often they have the most updated information.

I've posted some links below.  It is best to do some research before you arrive so that you have a feeling for what you would like to do.  It is difficult for anyone else to say what you would like to enjoy -- there are museums, parks, churches, art, architecture and lots of history in Chihuahua!
