What places should I visit while I'm visiting Bogota, Columbia?

I'm traveling to the Bogota area in Columbia and I need some good places to visit. Anyone have any recommendations?

  2. It's spelled COLOMBIA.

    VIsit the museo de oro (gold museum), plaza bolivar, cerro monserrate. If you're going to be hanging out clubbing and eating stay in the north, la candelaria, santa marta, parque 93, zona rosa.

  3. when I was there on a missions trip we took a day trip out to Tunja, it was absolutely beautiful to see the country side.  Visit the "candy kane church" or knonw as Church of Maria del Carmen ....also check out the emerald distric (be careful of the guys just standing around there....don't mess with them....they have guns) and the downtown has a fun place for shopping.  Also check out there gold museum, and a overview of the city at night......absolutely beautiful!

    have great fun, I loved it there and felt absolutely safe all the time, make sure to try to stay on the North side of the city as the south side is much rougher and is like a completely different city
