  1. That would be the largest planet of the solar system, Jupiter. Jupiter is the brightest object in the night sky next to our moon, and is going to be bright for about a month or so because our orbits are approaching the closest they will be in a while. Its a great time to observe!

  2. You're probably looking at Jupiter.  We're approaching the point where Earth and Jupiter are closest in their orbits in another month or so.

  3. If you mean the rather bright looking one, it is Jupiter.  You'll see it again in the same general area at the same time every night for a while still.

  4. Yep its Jupiter. Me and my bro look at it through the telescope for a couple of nights. To us, it is the first planet and only thing in the sky that we see.

  5. It is most likely Jupiter, the SECOND brightest object in the night sky next to the moon. Venus is the brightest non-lunar object in the sky which shines twice and bright as jupiter. If you look at it with Binocular, u can see the disk and if you look closely 4 of the Galilean satellites/moons (Io, Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa).
