What plant is not under research?

Question

Any of u can tell me which plant is not under research by any university or scientist? I need to do it for my Final Year Project. Answer me asap ya!!! Thanks a lot for u contribution!!!!

I would bet that any plant you could think of is likely being researched by someone, somewhere.  I work in a lab that focuses on systematics of plants, and between everyone that is working, we probably hit on every species of plants in our lab alone.

Try some some plants deep in Central Africa or Brazil. There is no name for it yet (since no research has been done on it yet!!!).

Well, with 250000 species of flowering plants alone, I doubt the fellow who thinks that every species is actively being studied by a research group (and he's certainly dreaming if he thinks any single group has a chance of doing that). Indeed, there are still species out there that have not been formally described! With all that, it's hard to answer with any certainty which species are not under research.

I agree with Mavster. There are so many plants out there that without trying very hard you could think of one. Even humble weeds. Without an area you live its hard to make suggestions on what would be easy to obtain. Also, what kind of research do you want to do on it, ecological, developmental, systematics etc?

Eurycles amboirensis (common name:  Bunga Sepenuh) is a plant that is native to Malaysia.  As far as I can tell in looking through various research databases, it has not been extensively researched (other than for describing it taxinomically) and there is no current research being done on it.
