What plant is this?

I need to know this plant, because my girlfriend loves touching it as she passes it, so I thought it would make a great gift to her :)

an arborvitae or perhaps an upright juniper im pretty sure.

I doubt it's a juniper..they hurt when You touch it. It looks like some type of cypress.

Go to a garden center and ask for a Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Nana Gracilis' and see if it looks the same as the one in your photo
