What plants are good for cats to eat???

I have 2 cats and they are indoor and they have to stay indoor so i thought that i would bring plants out side and re-plant them and put them indoors for my cats.My cat eat some plants and i know why but i dont know if its safe.

Catnip.  You can buy dried catnip in the pet shop.  It makes cats very happy and then they sleep!!  We had a cat who used to love eating the spider plants in the house although he was an outdoor cat.

You can grow grass for them and there is a plant called catmint, you will find it in the herbs at the garden centres and they love it!
