I live on a hill with strong gusts of wind (that broke my screen door more than once). I tried planting a bean plant outside and it was dead the next day. What kind of herb or garden plant is hardy enough to survive strong wind?

  1. Most probably of tea plant ,it will also give you a beautiful essence

    OTHERS:

    Pear Trees

    Persimmon Trees

    Plum Trees

    Pluot Trees

    Pomegranate Trees

    Prune Trees

  2. The kind of plants that will grow depends a lot on where you are. For example if you are in Manitoba you will need different plants to what you would need in Texas. Or perhaps you are in New Zealand or Scotland or some other place. We also don't know how big your block of land is. Usually trees are planted as windbreaks but if you are on a suburban block there may be no space for trees. How about if you put in a fence of some kind to stop some of the wind and then plant your beans in the protection of the fence. Your local garden centre will be able to advise you of suitable plants for your area.
