  1. Kelp, sea grasses, mangroves, sargassum, and all kinds of algae inhabit marine environments.  Brackish (estuarine) waters are less harsh on plants and numerous grasses, rushes, and shrubs have adapted to that tidal environment.

  2. There are two kinds of saltwater ecosystem :

    1. It takes place in the sea & 2. Mangrove Ecosystem.

In a mangrove ecosystem there r found....... plants like..( Scientific names are given)

Heritiera fomes, Sonneratia apetala, Ceriops decandra etc tiger ferns are also found........

& in a sea there are found halophytic plants like plants of  the division Rhodophyta (eg. polysiphonia). division Phaeophyta (eg. Sargassum) etc..

And many other kind of plants! ( I don't know properly!!)

  3. Algae aren't plants, they are protists.

Mangrove trees are considered saltwater plants.  But, there are a number of grasses that live either submerged in saltwater or in tidally submerged areas like marshes.

    These include species like:

    Zostera marina - eelgrass

    Thalassia testudinum - turtle grass

    Spartina spp.

    Juncus spp.

    Salicornia spp.
