What plants will attract butterflies?

i want the ones they lay eggs on, i love to watch them live and change and so do the kids i watch but i dont know what plants i can grow to bring just a few more

  1. butterflies lay eggs on the leaves that are good food for their bugs.like mango/lime/lemon/ orange plants


  2. Ask your garden center if they have Swan plants? We have these in New Zealand,and the Monarch butterfly feeds,lays it's eggs,and chrysalises on this plant.Easy to grow.

  3. you need to provide plants attractive to both caterpillars and butterflies in a natural setting. don't knoe what plants and butterflies you have in your area so i give you a list.
