What player for England rugby union team has B C S or R C S as initials? and Whose name ends in cott or croft

I have recently been given an england rugby union signed ball and am trying to work out some of the names on it. Being not a very big rugby fan, i would appreciate some help! lol. BTW the question is 2 different questions not the same player.

How old is the ball? In other words, when was it signed? That could be helpful to get the names. The second name could be Mike Catt, who has been playing for England since 1994. As for the first name, the only B S name in the last year was Ben Skirving who went on the South African tour this year.
