What players, besides A-Rod, have the best chance at being...?

The all-time home run leader? I mean like young players that already have a lot, such as Ryan Braun having so many in his first 2 years. Which players do you think would have a shot at being the all time home run leader? Besides A-Rod.

  1. me

  2. Even though I'm a Brewers fan, you've just gotta say Ryan Braun.

He's hit homers at an incredible pace so far, and has a chance of hitting the most homeruns of any player in their first two seasons of all time.

(He also was predicted to have hit around 49 homers last year if he played the full 162 games)  Yes, he DOES have a chance.

  3. I think Albert Pujols

  4. Not until we see another teenager come into the league with the ability to hit over 25 HRs his first year and every year until he's 45

  5. Maybe Prince Fielder..

Fielder also holds the Brewers' team record for home runs in a season, as well as the MLB record for youngest player to reach the 50 home run mark

    Carlos Beltran

David Wright, if he could get out of his slump.

And lets not forget Manny Ramirez

  6. albert pujols or ryan howard

  7. i think its albert pujols no question, hes only 28 and already at 300 home run thats insane i think him and arod will beat barry bonds record

  8. carlos beltran are you kidding me hes the same age as arod but he has HALF arods home runs wow u are dumb

david wright is 25 with with around 120 home runs no way he is getting into the 700s

ryan howard is 28 with not even 200 he got into the majors at to old of an age again 700 not happening

manny ramierez wont either because hes 5 years older than arod and got to 500 a year after him that means he would have to be in the league 6 years longer than a-rod to have more home runs than him

albert pujols is 28 with 300 home runs a-rod is 31 with over 500 pujols wont get 250 home runs in 3 years sorry hes not beating a-rod

ryan braun is already 24 with just 60 or so career  home runs hes not going to even beat pujols

and prince fielder is 24 with 100 home run and he has not done very well this year and hes not going to hit 550 in 7 years

so yea a-rod is the ONLY player who has a chance of beating bonds

  9. I think David Wright or Albert Pujols have a pretty good chance as long as they stay healthy and consistent.

  10. albert pujols, ryan howard

i am a met fan and i highly highly doubt that carlos beltran will break the homerun record unless he hits like 50 homeruns for the next 8-9 seasons. same with david wright

  11. Albert Pujols and Ryan Howard could be of consideration, but I don't know about being the all time leader. That is too far into the future.

  12. there are no other players.......  to be the all time home run leader you have to be a great home run hitter but also play the game for a long time a-rod has was an all star at 19ish maybbe 18 or 20

  13. Albert Pujols has the best chance.
