2-pin or 3-pin , u'll need a converter that u can buy from any electric appliances store for 0.5 $ only !

or u can buy a very good plug series adapter for less than 4 $

All the hotels & private residences i have been to in Egypt on my travels are =TWO pin. I lived in Egypt for 2 yrs & my husband is Egyptian, we always use 2 pin.

If you read the back of a new travel adapter pack, it will tell you what to use where.
