Maybe give me INSIGHT BETWEEN BLACK AND WHITE

The best thing you've ever done for me

Is to help me take my life seriously

(it's only life after all)

It's called internal rhyme.

Try a simile, something that is like something else, or a metaphor, something which illustrates an abstract meaning.

[While insight and white do rhyme, internal rhme is perhaps stretching it a bit. the device is not consistent in the rest.]
