I'm looking for poetry websites that have specific poems for relationship issues such as breakups, cheating, lying, taken for granted ... etc. A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all who take the time to answer sincerely.

PS - If you have a poem that you think fits the sitaution I described above, please post it with your answer.

  1. DO NOT EVER use poetry.com. They will send you so much spam that you will want to delete your email account. I use helium.com. it is a site that pays writers for their work and copyrights it for you. They have everything from drama stories, to nonfiction, to songs, to poetry. The poetry section has many categories you can write in. You should check it out.

  2. "Dark Side of Love"

    Where are you going,

    what are you doing.

    d**n you, d**n you,

    who are you s******g.

No, no, I'm happy for you,

the silence from me is not that I'm muted,

I've nothing to say because of promises made

that only leave the meaning of words diluted.

"Always, till the end of time, forever,

I'd never hurt you" said without meaning.

Words now a token of my spirit that's broken,

here take my throat it's primed for choking.

Left with only two gifts if I'm to go on,

    grab them they're fading rapidly,

an eternally saved but dehydrated soul,

and a heart currently filled with apathy.

With little left am I to smile and send

what remains of me for you to swallow,

and forgive and forget time that we spent,

that enabled you to leave me so hollow.

Without plausible reason, I avoid the sign,

I lie to myself yet one more time,

as I call myself up with my last dime,

and tell myself don't commit this crime.

Yes I'm left here at the crossroads to h**l,

    without feathery wings to travel,

and no bullet for my head to eternally end,

a failed love affair meant to last forever.

  3. poetry.com, I mean its a complete scam, but geat poetry, headlined also.
