I only ask because last year my dad worked in Kalispell in Montana and he said it had been snowing since october (when he arrived) and right up until february into the new year. To me that seems like a heck of a lot of snow but do other places get it worse?

  1. I would say my other state of Vermont gets a lot, because of the mountains. It snows right around Halloween and stays until the middle of April. The snowbanks get very high (around 10 feet or so), and the temperatures are usually around -10. Once we got 48 inches in 24  hours.
