What points we should keep in mind when we start a blog?

Having an operational 360 since last two years, what I would comment is ‘be prepared to dedicate some of your time for the connected friends, be a regular visitor to their pages and blogs, reply to their comments at the page and at their blogs and if they asked some questions in your blogs reply to it. Be selective in choosing friends there are people who just interested to have friends as much as they can; be prepared to find that you are visiting friend’s pages regularly but some of them are not returning the favour, be prepared to get criticizing comments in your entries (depend on your entries) do not be short tempered. Go for some worthy inputs in the blogs those are useful, informative and are coated with humour if you can.

Finally if you are planning to have a 360 blog page then be prepared to face Yahoo Glitches; (after the announced upgrade there are lot of problems in it).

a)It shall describe the person to whom it belongs

b) It shall ensure that what ever is being dished out is interesting ELSE who will read.

c) It shall have a good design

d) It shall be meaningful and Memorability of Blog needs to be kept in mind.

A good blog to me:

1) Mainly, is one that is authentic. Your thoughts, your creative background, your interests - there's only one "you," so be expressive! I know, that's corny, but it's true.

2) Keep it updated.

3) Theme... is your blog a commentary on the latest news? Is it a diatribe about activities in your daily life? Is it only about your pet's quirks? A theme isn't necessary, but a purpose helps. Now, if you just want to write anything that comes to mind, well, try to make it sound like an interesting read.

4) A sense of fun - humor always helps.
