What policies are the G8 countries implementig to slow global warming?

  1. They are not actually commited to anything in terms of actual 'policy'. What they agreed on was an "ambitious but nonbinding goal" to cut emissions by a half by 2050... an easy statement for politicians to make considering that no-one present at the G8 will still be in power by then.

  2. GW can't be stopped. But what a great excuse to tax everyone for breathing. Or producing so called "Greenhouse gases". I know it's just a coicidence that tempatures are rising on other planets. But please tell me about one planet in our solar system where temps are dropping and i'll give up my "it's the Sun stupid" position.

  3. Not all are convinced that it is real.  Japan, while it is not getting much press, seriously challenges it existence.
