  1. Polish Sausage is very good.

  2. Pirogi- little fried parcels with fillings like wild mushrooms or curd cheese

    Potato Pancakes

    Pickled red cabbage

    Buckwheat salad (kasha)

Kieshka is like black pudding but that's a step too far for me :)

It's good comfort food. Nice to see someone open minded about trying new food by the way!

  3. Stuffed cabbage is a good one.

    Sausage and sauerkraut

    Breaded pork chops

Most all of it is good. It depends on what your willing to try because some of it is made out of weird stuff. Like a soup made of duck blood and a blood sausage called keishka

  4. Polish cuisine specializes in kiełbasa (hundreds of kinds), bread (rye bread especially), vodka (if you're into liquor) and bigos (sauerkraut stew).

Generally you may try anything, Poles don't eat worms or snakes ;-)

But you may find disgusting such dishes as kaszanka (buckwheat sausage) or czernina (black soup) - the traditional recipe requires adding some blood (pig's or goose's) to it :)

  5. Try whatever looks good, a lot of it is.

  6. piergio, sausage, stuffed cabbage(gyomki), tatar, barcz, bigos some of these might be spelled diffrent or called diffrent but try them

  7. Try frozen dumplings. After you cook them, put on frying pan and make brown-Delicious, you can also try Meatballs(only from Pudliszki).....Enjoy
