Everyone is going back and forth about what they think of the candidates, but, no one is talking about the issues. What issues are you the most concerned with?

Please, don't say "change", that one is a given.

  1. About immigration? About funding schools so that they can provide quality programs for students. What about regulating the  market to keep oil speculators from driving prices up?

  2. Healthcare without a doubt. How can the United States claim itself to be the land of freedoms when 47 million are without such a fundamental human right?

  3. The economy.  The national debt.  Getting a REAL State Department back.

    Getting a functional FEMA back.

Getting alternative Energy going and fuel economy inproved.

  4. The above answers are valid, just don't take my tax money to fund them.   Find another way.   When the government uses tax dollars to fund pet projects it can exhert control and as we have seen the federal government is inefficient.   Socialised medicine is not all it is cracked up to be.  Allow a free market solution.   Funding these things with my or anyone elses money is marxism at its purist....the redistribution of wealth.

  5. I want someone else to pay for everything I want because I'm too damned lazy to work for it. I also don't understand why everyone doesn't just bow their heads and worship the Great God Government, which grants us all rights in Its most gracious mercy because we are entitled to nothing save the sweat and labor of our neighbors, as I do.

                                           - Obama supporter

What concerns me the most is that we have an electorate which seems to possess an insane hatred of their own freedom.

  6. Social justice issues like women's rights, ending poverty, equal pay for women, civil rights,  and peace (ending the war in Iraq).

I also care a great deal about the economy, education, the environment (alternative energy), universal health care, and foreign diplomacy.
