  1. The cue I am playing with now has a predator shaft and it is absolutely the best cue I've used to date.

  2. All the cues play pretty much the same. As long as the cue is straight or crooked in a way you know about, a good player will be a good player. Pick the one that you like the best. The differences are so subtle that if you think you feel something different, it is likely your imagination.

  3. Joss is a great value for the money. Predator makes a great cue, but their shafts react very differently than anything else out there, so you really do need to try one out if you're considering one. The build quality of Schon cues is better than the other two being a low production manufacturer.

If you're seriously looking into new cues in this price range, I would suggest you seriously consider a custom cue. There are a lot of great cuemakers out there that will build you something nice in the $500 range, and you'll probably like it better than any of the cues mentioned here.

  4. All three are good cues so I don't think you would go wrong. Predator cues are in my opinion are too expensive so I guess I go with Joss

  5. predator is probly best,I like joss my self. Inow make my own cues,I make them one hafe inch longer on the butt and one hafe inch loner on the shaft.Ialso put the weight tword the shaft ,it really improved my game, Ialso have a thirty five year old joss i retired after making my own

  6. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of those cues.  I think some predator cues are over priced, but I am now convinced that they make a very good shaft.  I shoot with a Jacoby with a predator shaft and love it.
