    There are 145.9 million employed persons. 22.4 million are Gov't employees.

    Why are there never any governmental layoffs?

    In fact, I can think of 535 people in the Federal government I'd like to see laid off today. The entire US Senate and House of Representatives.

    Since I am one of their employers, do you think they would go home if I sent them a pink slip in the mail.

    Wait, they can't remember the fact that they work for me. Most of them believe I work for them.
