HA!  Funny question.  I won't ask the reason you want to know, but...

Based on HUMAN evidence, from early man, the position would be what is often called "doggie style."  While the sexual psychology course didn't give a reason why this was assumed to be the first position, one might expect it to be from the "logic" than animals use this style to mate.  Of course, you are getting into a touchy area with human psychology, but...

Besides, the big feet would get in the way. :)
