Question:

What position do I put the quail eggs while incubating them?

This might get a little complicated, so.. please bear with me!

  1. We put our eggs in pointy end up.  Rotate every 12 hours...put the pointy side down.   There is not much to know.  You can even lay them on their sides..as long as they are rotated 2 times daily.  This keeps the yoke from sticking to the side of the shell...As long as they get rotated 180 degrees


  2. When Incubating the egg it doesn&#039;t matter which way is facing, I hatched mine &lt; _ ) sideways. (as long as you rotate the egg 2 times daily) until the last day! In the last day the baby bird will turn towards the air pouch(the bigger end of the egg) and break in to start breathing. This stage you can usually hear the baby chirp inside the egg. If you continue to rotate the egg after the baby starts hatching the baby might die because it will be using to much energy to stay in the air spot right way up. After breaking through the air sack it will start hatching through the shell.
