What position for football should I play?

What position for football would you recommend I play? I am almost 6'1 and weigh 190. I've never played football for school before, I'm going into the 11th grade. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well you are a good size for a Cornerback maybe even a punt or kick off return man. How fast are you? You could always become a kicker as well.

dont even try for linebacker yet, you need to learn more about the game like tackling and reading plays.  go with wide reciever if you are not very strong.  i play tight end and line backer and im about your same size, so just depending on your strength,go with a reciever postition.  and on defense, try a defensive end or something
