What position on a football team is the fastest runner?

Widereceivers are the fastest players. Cornerbacks are the second fastest because they hav to keep up with th WRs. Yes some running backs are fast but that position in general is for players with speed that can change directions quickly. Also the reason why some widerecievers aren't fast is becuz there hands or hops r so good that they don't need to be fast. But al in all WRs are the fastest with corners and RBs close behind

depending on the offense, if you have a spread team that throws a lot, then receiver. If you run a strict run offense, then probably the running backs.

If they drafted correctly, I think the wide receiver, should be fastest. But it depends on the type of team they are like running, or passing.

db and safties, rb , and wr been the fastest players on the team.

Most people are saying wide receiver but in the NFL alot of receivers arent all that fast. When you look at corners they all have excellent speed.

Depends on the team and level of play.  Pro and college the receivers and corners are fastest.  High school and lower I put the fastest good player at tailback
