  1. im assuming you know the basic rules of soccer

There are 3 basic positions in soccer:

    1. defense-probably not the hardest position but all the pressure is on u cuz if the ball gets by you its probably gonna be a goal, this is not the position that you want to play

2.midfielder-the hardest position, you will have to be running and trying your hardest the whole time that you r in the game. you will have to play 50% defense and 50% offense, you also have to be either good or great at almost every skill like shooting, passing, defending, and dribbling. htis is not the position that you want to play

3.forward-here, you will concentrate solely on offense and you will not have to run very much. you have to be good at speed, shooting, dribbling, and be okay at passing. this is the position that you want

some drills that will help you improve:

1.getting faster will require you to do drills that involve sprinting and agility. like running in and out of cones at full speed

    2. for the other skills just practice doing them, you know , just pass a ball against the same spot on a wall over and over again. for shooting just practice kicking a ball into a goal. for dribbling just run with a ball in and out of obsticles.

and i know this stuff cuz im 14 and ive been playing soccer since i was 3 or something so you can trust me

  2. There is no easy position in soccer. Even position you are depended on by your teammates. You just have to figure it out.

    1. If you like dribbling and cutting and faking forward is for you.

    2. If you like running and supporting mid- field is for you

    3. If you like taking the ball away from people and chipping it defense is for you.

    Good Luck :)

  3. Prob a defender?Central defender

  4. any position just pick one and stick to it. and well since you are a beginner if you want you can e mail me and i will give you tips or if you have any questions.

  5. don't pick your position, the position will picks you.

your coach will definitely knows what position you will be suitable for, just exercise hard
