What position should i play this year for my High School basketball team?

Im 5"9

155 lbs

Shoot lights out

really athletic

Can block a little

Good at fadeaway

an allright dribbler not bad

Have a ray allen type shot.

Have a really good floater.

Can penetrate through the defense.

Be a Shooting guard.  Every attribute you listed relates to the SG position.  Defiently not a point guard since you arent a confident dribbler and you mite be too small to play center or power forward.  That leaves SG and small forward.  But I would conisder the shooting guard.

im the same as u but im 5'10"

but i was put as a Shooting Guard, and my 2nd position was small forward cuz im good at blocking cuz i can jump pretty high. but i guess u should be a SG

Guard and Forward

if your teammates are too short for you,you are at forward,and if not,you are a guard,but height does matter but,if you have an ability in that position you got to take that,like me,I'm only 5'4 but i play,center,pf,sf,and sg,from my coach,coz i have great ability to rebound over big tall man,and block sometimes, and the ability of an highflyer,i can dunk like Vince carter, my jump is high enough,,,

like NBA PLAYER----Chuck Hayes,HOUSTON ROCKETS he is only 6'6 shorter than the SG(Tracy McGrady)-6'8, and CHUCK is The bench Power Forward for Luis Scola,

you've got to improve your skills for that position,where ever you like in that position you've got to take that.you will work for that,you've gotta love that,work hard,that suit in your abilities.tnx

you should deff play the 2 spot (SG). i am same as you cept not as athletic, im a great shooter and cant swat shots lol but play the 2. its the best and you should suceed in it
