  1. play as number 6 this position would suit you. (union)

  2. How big are you now?

  3. I'd say you could probably play 4 different positions depending on your build, strength and takling.

    1. Hooker, they tend to bebout 5ft8, you need to be reaosnably strong and be able to hook the ball in scrums and throw into line outs well. you need strength for rucking and mauling though

    2. Flanker, if you are fast, fit and strong enough, there is alot of tackling and alot of runnning, you need to be first to rucks and mauls after scrums, you also h ave to tackle anyone coming round a scrum, and generally make tackles

    3. Scrum half, you need to be at every break down to get the ball and pass it out. Need to be relatively quick, and have a good flat and fast pass. Also being able to kick is a bonus for this position. Here you basically control the forwards, you tell them what to do basically and then pass the ball to the backs.

You don't need much strength to play this.

    4. Fly-half, this is the players that is first reciever out of set pieces (rucks, mauls and scrums), they control the backs, you chose what moves you want the backs to do, when the ball comes out of rucks and mauls and scrums, basically fly half controls the play of the game.

abeing able to kick is a great advantage, because in your 22, if you will be the first man their to clear the ball down field.

To play here you dont need much strength, but need to handle pressure quite well.

    hope i helped.

  4. play winger or scrum half. It is the perfect position for a man of your size with how old you are.
