What position would I play in rugby?

I am a bit taller than 6' 4 and weigh 230lbs. What position should i play?

  1. Lock number 4 or 5,your height advantage would help big time in line outs.


  2. I don't agree with any of them, but....It depends on how quick you are.  

    Flanker sounds about right presuming you're quick and strong.

    I will say this though.  Get down to your local rugby club.  You'll get a wonderful welcome and all the advice you need.

  4. you're size hardly matters, how fast are you?

    are your tackles good?

    hows your positioning?

    Are you agile and good at breaking lines

    you could be a forward or back with that size but, where do your skills lie

    backs are quick strong(explosive) agile and quick minded

    forwards are powerful, they protect the ball crash through lines

  5. You'd make a good lock, since you've got the height. You're pretty big, so you could make a good prop as well. You're a good size for an amateur player

    I'm 6'4 and 210lbs, and play number eight for King Country.
