  1. The question is how are your skills? If you want to make the team

be in shape, period. Don't worry about where you will play!

Any coach worth his salt will know where you belong trust

his instincts. Now if you are asked tell him the positions,

you have played, don't BS the coach. He will know just how

good you are by watching your progress in certain drills and tests.

IF you demand to play a certain position be prepared to

play a permanent position...the bench, or even in the stands.

The coach is the final authority...where he puts you is the place

he feels your needed best. IMO you are best used in the midfield

rear line defense or as a goaltender. You can play forward but

speed and skill are important here.

  2. I'm sure your coach will put you in a position that is suitable for  you and the team.

  3. Really, what it comes down to is what you're skilled at.

If you can run for long distances and sprint fast and then cross the ball, wing mid is for you. If you can run fast and have a good shot, then forward would be good. If you can tackle (no not litterally, just get the ball) good, then defense would be good.

Take caution, if you've never played soccer before it might be hard to make the team

  4. well il right all the positions and you can choose

    so we have..

GOALKEEPER - so ur tall so it wud a advantage mayb try that see how it goes

DEFENDERS - these need lots of energy and are not scared of challenges is this for u?

MIDFIELDERS - well this position u need the most energy because u would be runing up and down the pitch constantly through the game you need good ball control to

STRIKER - you need to be able to control the ball when it comes to u in the air, and your accuracy needs to be good!

So which one suits you? :)

  5. if your fast you can break away from defenders on opposing team

    then offense

if your good with diving jumping and with your hands then goalie

midfeild is good for non stop running

defense you gotta protect the goal with your feet
