For the personal Household of a Princess or Princess in the British Royal Household I just see mainly Private Secretary, Valet, etc.

For TRH The Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark there is:

Chamberlain, Chief of the Court

Lady-in-Waiting

Secretary to the Chief of the Court

Head Clerk

Secretary

Master of the Royal Household

Deputy Principal Household Official

Valet

Lady's maid

What else is there? Who handles their day to day schedule? What about stylists and other aides or are they just called that? Or is there possibly a Second Valet and such?

  1. Go to http://www.royal.gov/uk and go to the link for household positions;there should be an explanation of each job there.

The positions you listed,as well as dressers, maids, valets, footmen,et cetera, for the private household sounds about right,to me. Depending upon the workload(charities, trusts,

board memberships) that a royal may hold, a staff can include more than one lady-in-waiting,secretary,

    dresser...

  2. What about the Butler?
