  1. "keep it up"

    "your doing great"

    "im so proud of you"

  2. "Works Hard"

  3. I'm a teacher.  I start every every report card with a positive comment. Even a struggling child has something positive about them.  It could  be that they are friendly with others.   I try to think what the child does well.  Then I write what the child needs to improve.  Here's an example, "Billy has made nice progress in reading this trimester.  He is always eager to participate in class.  Please work with billy to memorize his addition facts".   Other positive things to say:

*Billy gets along well with others.

*Billy arrives on time for class.

*Billy is always eager to participate in class activities.

    *Billy is polite

I don't have a lot of room to write comments, so I try to keep them to the point.  There are a few books with prewritten comments for teachers.  You might want to look for one.

  4. Write only 3 brief sentences. All the three should be strongly positive.

1.The first sentence should encourage the student for the progress made in the field where he/she was lacking till the previous report.

    2. The second will focus on the immediate problem- remember, it should be just one - handwriting, math, punctuality or any one thing in particular, hinted in a mild way.

    3. The last sentence will boost the student's self-confidence & therefore will suggest his/her possible strong points that would help to get over the problem, again put in a sugar-coated manner.

The student will be encouraged to make a self-assessment & will feel good about him/her self. The classmates & parents wouldnot have anything against him/her either.

And you will be respected and loved!

  5. "Very Good"

    "Execllent"

    "Keep it up"

    "U Got A Surprise gift"

"Very Good MArks And Handwriting keep it up"

    "Make it Every time best"

  6. positive thing like hes been on his best behavyore like that

  7. I remember my report cards, and it seemed I liked hearing something personal rather than "Nice work" or "Great job". I'd rather hear something like <name> I've really watched you improve over the past semester, keep up the great work, or, <name> You really impressed me with your book report on <name of book>. Things like that, parent's love it and it's something that a kid will remember for a long time. I know it's a lot of extra work for the teacher to be that personal but it really helped me grow as a student.
