  1. It really depends. Since I play, I'll tell you that at the Varsity Level, you'd be definitely stuck as a PG. But on JV, you have a wide range of options. I suggest sticking at the PF since your body is fit for it. It's also not that difficult physically to play, as long as you can bank the shot off the glass.

If you really wanted to switch, I'd suggest moving down to SG and practicing your guard abilities. If you are serious about playing Varsity ball, then it's better to start developing your skills now. You might grow a couple of inches, but that will make it all the better. A 6-footer who has guard skills is very dangerous. And if you can keep your post moves while developing guard skills, that will make you even more valuable.

So start working on your ball-handling. I'm not sure how much experience you have with running a team but dribbling is very important. The player that can dribble while keeping his eyes on the court is ideal. Fancy moves aren't necessary, since you'll never use them in a game. It's too risky. Work on the fundamentals of throwing a good pass and dribbling blind. That is the key.

  2. SF. You're a bit big for your age though. If you have good ballhandling and a decent shot, you're set.

  3. Probably Shooting Guard or Forward.

  4. I'm 17 but I am your size and I play 2 guard and a little point but I have big man moves so I can play a little of the 4.

  5. small forward?????

  6. Im 14 6 ft 2 on varsity and i played sf and sg. Going into high school on a freshman team i played sf because i could dribble and shoot the three, then i got put on varsity because id score 30 points a game. Get your ballhandling together and try for sf your first year because its  you will handle the ball but not as much as the other 2 guards, but will get many oppurtunities to drive to the bucket and shoot thye three ball to build up your skills. Next year on varsity, ill be playing more of the shooting guard because i got my handles tight and my jumper together. I am your age just a bit taller so trust me. Gradually goto shooting guard because some small forwards will be taller
