What prayer would work best for John McCain?

I think he's going to need one. More people watched Obama's speech at the convention than tuned in to watch American Idol. My faith in the electorate has gone up a notch.

  1. Just pray from your own heart in your own words.

  2. Intercessory.

The thing I noticed is, (yes, I admit I watched) Obama followed the typical pattern a minister might use with a few exceptions.

He apparently emphasized not only identifying with the common people, but especially went after their emotions. I am afraid that people are making their political decisions based solely on an emotional feeling, rather than a hard look at facts.

He seemed to cover any one and every one that had any gripe or complaint. Okay, so what;'s he gonna do, change the constitution?

    THAT would be disastrous.

  3. mccain is OLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.

  4. "Oh lord, please help me fool the US electorate, so that they don't notice that I picked as my running mate a woman who has even LESS experience than Obama, who I keep criticising for not having much experience. Help the electorate NOT notice that I am one big hypocrite."

  5. Help I got gas again.

  6. Whichever one that guides someone who's not all mentally there.

  7. Hello ,my friend ,we have been here for a long time ,now . I thought u would be a democratic. But Obama speaks to religious w/ biblical logos. I 'm going to vote McCain . But biblically Obama is going to win.

    GOD BLESS

    I'm thumbs down queen .

    I'm cool

  8. In 20 years, I will be only slightly less qualified than Palin to be next-in-line to the presidency.

I will be a writer. With an office job. Same education level, though, and a better grasp on science!

  9. "Please God don't give me cancer again."

  10. Obama will win. the Republican era is over.

  11. John McCain has a better chance of winning if he just sold his soul to Satan.

  12. There is no answer in politics. There are no heroes elected. It's the devil or the deep blue sea. Most tallented bull s*****r wins.

  13. For the first time since the Lewinsky & Clinton case, I am seeing hope in Obama in bringing back the respect the US presidency deserves.

  14. Dear God:

Please send me a "wardrobe malfunction" during the Vice Presidential debates.

    Thank you,

    John.

  15. McCain will need a lot of prayers

    my vote OBAMA/BIDEN 08!!!!!

  16. I think he's going to need some magical spells after his VP pick... lol

  17. The polls show that McCain and Obama are neck and neck.  There is always a post-convention bump in the polls.  McCain will also have this bump in popularity -- indeed, with the announcement of his running mate, interest has already increased.

I am an undecided voter.  I'm not that impressed by Obama. I thought Obama's speech was delivered admirably, albeit without any real original ideas or specifics.

But lots of people watched it because of the historic nature of it (according to polls), rather than because they were interested in what he had to say.

I will watch McCain's speech, too, and compare the platforms on which both candidates say they are going to run and make my decision accordingly.

  18. That man needs more than a prayer.

  19. Man Made prayers, pre-written ones, are not what God wants or deserves.  Can't you make your own up and talk to him yourself?

  20. I pray McCain forgets to dress and walks out to his next speech nude except for skid-marked skivies.

That should secure it for Obama.
