Such stains include, for example,tomato-based such as ketchup, pasta sauce; juice; chocolate; Popsicles, ground in dirt, etc. Any help you can provide is much appreciated. Also if you have a favorite laundry detergent that works well I'd be interested in hearing about it. They would need to be items available in the US. Thank you :)

  1. I have always used 409.  It even does a great job on tempra paint the kids use in school!  My youngest son thinks it's the greatest thing to use his pants to draw on using just about anything, paint, pen, pencil, and the 409 takes out. My daughter spilled bright red nail polish on a blanket & tried polish remover and lacquer thinner (hoping to fool mom, of course).  When these didn't work she fessed up - the 409 even took out the mess she had made without ruining the blanket.

  2. Soak overnight in tepid water with plenty of salt in it prior to normal wash. Regards. UK

  3. oxiclean.  i got blood on sum shorts once and washed and dried em my great aunt soaked em in oxiclean for a few hours and it came rite out. u can do this while the kids take a nap if they're too young to be around bathtubs. that's where i do my pretreating for my laundry now. o it may not look like it came out at 1st but wash it like normal and throw sum more on top of the load and check it after is done. good luck!
