HI im doing an 8th grade presentation for driving safe in towns.

What precautions should drivers take in school zones and work zones?

Slow way down, literally to the posted speed limit. (Many people slow, but still exceed the posted limit.)

Make sure you stay in your lane.

Be prepared to make a sudden stop. Kids or workers can seem to appear out of nowhere.

Remember, ignorance of the law is not an excuse.

Drive your pattern now and familiarize yourself with the various speed zones and watch out for children.

The same for work zones but watch out for workers and signs................

Slow down, scan all surroundings, HANG UP THE PHONE. be ready to stop. look for pedestrians and see what are they doing, or what are they about to do.
