  1. 0044 (and if you are calling a mobile 077 etc drop the 0) if you are calling Edinburgh and the number is 0131...etc, drop the 0

  2. 0044 eg 0044 01483472983

  3. 0044

  4. 0044 then miss the 0 off the dialling code - eg if calling newcastle the code would be

    0044 191 .....

  5. 0044 and you usually remove the 0 from the start of the rest of the number

  6. Here is an example.

The code for London is 028 when dialing that from Ireland it is 0044 28. You drop the 0 from the dialing code in England and add the rest of the numbers. From UK to Ireland it is 00353 drop the 0 of the dialing code then add the rest of the numbers.
