AE isn't true prep, perhaps prep inspired.  Polo, Lacoste, and Nautica have extra large sizes, and they are true prep.

You can find extra-large shirts at almost any store you'd want to go to..American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister...they all have them. :]
