  1. LOL Carter, the guy did nothing while US citizens were being held hostage for over a year.

    Carter is the reason why Iran hates our guts.

  3. How about Teddy Roosevelt?  Established banking regulation and anti-trust laws even though he was Republican and from privileged background.

    I'm fairly sure he'd be appalled at what his party has been up to lately.

  4. There were no Presidents that acted courageously to address a political issue that I can think of. They all like to duck political bombs like that and just hope the next guy has to deal with it.  I'm thinking of Social Security.
