What price do you pay (outside of the U.S.) for gas?

This is for all of the people saying gas prices are too high in the U.S. Help me to show them what they could be paying.

Please state your country and the U.S. equivilant if you know it.

  1. I've read that Turkey pays around USD $11 per gallon, but in Caracas you'll pay about USD $0.45 per gallon.

    Even in America, there's awareness that prices are much worse than in the rest of the world, but any time any commodity jumps by a factor of 200%+ in less than a decade, it's fair to complain, even if that commodity is more expensive elsewhere.

    I pay USD $4.00 in the midwest US.  That's similar to what much of Europe would pay with smaller taxes.


  2. It was up to $1.30 a litre in Ontario, Canada

    Thats slightly more then $5 a gallon...

  3. Western Canada - $1.35 per litre (I think that's roughly $6.50 a gallon)
