What privileges did you have when you were 15?

what kind of chores did you have, if any?

what was your allowance, if you had one?

i want to know what is more or less common.

I did stuff and didn't get allowance.

Ah, this question reminds me that I need to go clean the bathrooms today. Fuuun.

i vacuum and dust, and i make 5$ for each (10$ if i did both)

and i unload the dishwasher when the dishes were clean.

the payment for the chores is my allowance, but i also have a job, and my parents pay for my taxi rides to and from work if they aren't home to drive me.

If i need new clothes my mom gives me 200$. All i have to do is be nice.

I am aloud to go out and party as long as i leave a phone number, and keep my cell on.

I'm aloud to swear, throw parties, drink, and go out whenever. If i get mouthy, we have "family conferences" and then i apologize and its all good.

I have my own computer, along with every video game system. My mom takes me on "mother daughter trips" to places like Cedar Point, Cuba.. and we go on family vacations once a year. I have to go on them, even if i really don't want to.

Well I did the dishes, took care of my cats and did one half of the laundry (putting clothes from washer to dryer and putting them away). I got 15 dollars every two or three weeks. I could go out with my friends anytime as long as my parents had a two day warning. That's about it, I have lots of freedoms.

clean the sitting room, wash own clothes clean room once a week (which seems obv but i shared with 2 older sisters who didn't ever clean it)

i basically could of did whatever i wanted, but since i had all theses d**n emotional problems all i did was sit in all the time, and wanted to die...it was bad time

I do dishes. Every now and then I clean  my room or do laundry.

I don't get an allowance, but I get money when I need it because my mom doesn't want me to get a job.

No chores, but I have to like collect the trash on the night before trash days, wash dishes and take out my dog.

No allowance, but sometimes I get money for no reason--or good grades. And if I go somewhere, like with friends or something, they give me money

Umm as for priveleges...

I can go out with my friends and stuff but I have to have my phone on and answer when they call

I can go to like parties and junk--but again answer my phone

I can be on the computer like all day long ((I'm not even kidding lol)) but I have to get off if someone else needs it or I have to do something

I can talk on the phone like all day ((as long as its the people who are in my circle or have the same service provider)) and all night

I can basically do whatever,, as long as I don't get in trouble

But I can't--

get smart or my mother will give me a look

whine or I'll get the same look

cuss--even though my father does and neither could give me a valid explanation as to why I shouldn't

Use up all the minutes ((me and my mother have 2000 for the month to share--thats why I can only talk to people with my same provider, etc.))

Chores: whatever my mom told me to do... and it better be done by the time she got home.

Allowance:  No.  I worked for my money.  Babysat, took care of people's animals... I got a public job when I was 16.

What's more or less common?  Depends on the area you live in.  I'm from a rural area and it was the same with all my friends.

well, i had to vacuum every friday after school in order to go to the football games

and do dishes on tuedays

i had allowance kinda, 15 dollars a week but my mom kept forgetting to give it to me so it just stopped

I had to take out the garbage, clean the kitchen, vacuum, keep the living room straightened up, do laundry and mow the lawn. I only got paid 10 dollars every two weeks for the lawn, everything else I didn't get paid for.

don't really have assigned ones, i do do some stuff around the house.

if i did chores everyday i would get paid 10 a week.
