  1. Strong headwind will cause create drag and slow your car down. Side wind or any other may cause inbalance.

  2. with air rushing under your car as you're driving anyway, high speed winds can affect the grip your tires are able to maintain on the road.  Cross winds can also push your car sideways.

Years ago, I was driving along an interstate in Massachusetts when a strong blast of winter wind blew across my car and the windshield got so cold so fast that the glass frosted over.  I had to open my window to pull into the breakdown lane and let the defroster melt the ice off the windshield.  That was just about the scariest moment of my driving life, going 60, then not being able to see.  Fortunately, it was a road I'd traveled often, it was straight and there wasn't much traffic.

  3. a whoosh sound on your windshield.

  4. Headwinds kill your fuel mileage, crosswinds blow you left and right. Tailwinds are good, because they decrease wind resistance. Motorcyclists have it tough in wind, because the headwinds are trying to yank us off the back of the bike, and force us to push our heads down harder into the wind, which can give us neck pain. The crosswinds blow us to the left or right of our lane, which forces us to lean into the wind and steer back into the lane. It always feels like the crosswind gusts are trying to blow the bike out from under us. Strong winds in the desert can blow sand across the road, which reduces visibility and can actually sandblast the paint off the car and frost the glass. A lot of trucks and high-profile vehicles like RVs get blown over in strong crosswinds. Trees, trash cans, and other objects get blown onto the road, which creates major hazards and delays for drivers. One time in Chino, California on Interstate 15, a massive freeway sign blew down just as a car was driving under, and the driver was killed. I'm sure there's more problems, these are just the ones I have personally experienced.
